This disclaimer explains how leads are generated, routed, and managed on the Ravine Realty platform.
1. Lead Generation
Leads are generated when users submit inquiries through contact forms, property showing requests, or consultation bookings on the platform. Leads may be scored using AI based on the information provided by the user. Lead scores are estimates and should not be the sole factor in determining how to engage with a potential client.
2. Lead Routing
Leads submitted from a specific property listing are routed to that listing's assigned agent. Leads submitted from an agent's profile page are routed to that agent. Leads submitted through general contact forms are routed to the brokerage or platform administration. Ravine Realty routes inquiries based on these rules and does not select or prioritize recipients.
3. No Guarantee of Outcome
We do not guarantee that any lead will result in a successful transaction. Lead information is based on user-submitted data and may be incomplete or inaccurate. Agents and brokerages are responsible for verifying lead information and complying with all applicable real estate legislation when contacting potential clients.
4. Compliance with CASL
All electronic communications sent through our platform to leads must comply with Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL). This includes obtaining consent, providing identification information, and including an unsubscribe mechanism. Agents and brokerages are responsible for ensuring their communications comply with CASL.
5. Renter Passport Data
When renters share their Renter Passport or financial documents through the platform, this data is provided voluntarily by the renter and should be handled in accordance with PIPEDA. Agents and landlords must obtain explicit consent before accessing, sharing, or using this data for tenant screening.
